It Is What It Is

TAT | November 1, 2008

Call me unispired or whatever. however  I tottally forgot about this blog for a while now have been really busy. Work and gym have been taking a lot out of me. Besides being able to use the net every other day since my DAD doesnt like anyone else browsing or using it while he is on. Really didnt find the time to.

So hows everyone doing enlighten me? anything I missed or should know?

As for me things are good - the no internet thing. I’m thinking of picking up WOW for a while I can manage to squeeze 3 hours in everyday I guess besides my friends play it and they all level 70 so I need to catch up to them lol.  We’ll see how that goes. My car lease is up so it’s time for me to get a new car I suppose. After some research I decided to get the best car for driving in kuwait and everyone recommended it for me so let’s see what happens from here on.

I was going to buy a new TV however I decided to get the 24 inch samsung monitor with HDMI since it’s better for gaming and all I watch now are downloadable content. That’s one place where a smaller size outperforms a bigger size :P

Oh yeah, after a talk with my nutritionist/friend we decided it’s time for me to start real supplements lets see if I see any gains from that. Gonna switch from a fat blocker to a fat burner. And add into the mix a pre-workout shake. It’s time for me to get ripped. 3 days per week of excercising is good and all, yet I’m still lacking in the cardio department since I should at least do 2 days of 30 minute cardio. Maybe I’ll buy me a treadmill or something since I’m not really motivated to go outside and kill it. Might setupp some kind of treadputer as well.

As for now my official wigh in has to wait for 4 weeks, however I lost in total about 10 kilos. And I’m actually starting to build muscle. Which reminds me gotta research delayed muscle fatigue lol.

So to end it all, I guess I’ll commit myself to at least have one post up per week starting today.

Core Fitness Review

TAT | August 12, 2008

Where do I start, I have been looking for a gym for a while now. But they where either expensive, too many people in it, or far away. I was trying to live a healthy lifestyle. Downloaded a couple of fitness tapes did the home thing for a bit. But the thing is I was never motivated enough to finish. But all thats changed, I have finnally found a gym that I can call a second home.

Yeah ya heard that right it’s like my second home. I’m eating healthy now, doing the gym thing. You know those people who work out and say they are happy and enjoying life and feel great? Back in the days I used to say bullshit. But guess what I’m one of them now. The gym has literally changed my life and the way I think about my body. So lets talk about the gym for now.

Core fitness is located in Bneid Al Gar right next to Safir international Hotel. If you dont know where that is it’s in front of Fudfuckers. It’s a small chilled place that has a nice atmosphere. you walk in and you’ll find the reception area and next to it. A very comfy changing area and a huge ass bathroom. Let me talk about the bathroom for a second there’s only one. And it does not look like a bathroom you find in other gyms more like a personal bathroom in your house. Upstairs is the workout area equipped with weights and machines and basically all you need. But get this, it’s not that big at all it’s just the right size.

Now that we talked about how the place looks like, you might be asking yourself why is it not that big? Well to answer your question Core Fitness is not your conventional gym it’s more or less your own personal gym. If it’s packed, there’s only two more people working out with you and you wont even feel their presence. The Trainers, really give you a hell of a workout. And yes you will feel it the next day for sure.

So lets talk about the Core Fitness program or programs shall I say. they offer 5 unique programs personalized for your fitness level, expertise, and goals. The 5 tracks are

  1. Fitness
  2. Fat loss
  3. Muscle Building
  4. Endurance
  5. Fitness boxing

I will list the benefits you get from Core Fitness:

  • Personalized program depending on your goals
  • You own Trainer that will be with you the whole nine yards
  • A Diet suited to your lifestyle
  • You might bump into the DON himself, me :P
  • It is appointment based, so those living a hectic lifestyle can manage their time well and clear their schedule for gym time.

Each program lasts 7 weeks, since that’s the time your body needs to change. Also depending on your fitness level you either start at 2, 3, or 4 days per week.

That’s about it really. As for me the workouts are really fun, it’s always changing so your body wont adapt and platue. It’s become one of those things I love to hate and love again affair you know. Best part is after two weeks I have been feeling changes can’t wait for the 7 week comparision of before and after. I have been getting complimenst a lot lately the topic of the day seems about my wight loss and how good I look lol. A friend of mine was like “Hey TAT your glowing did you just have sex?” And I say “Nope Core Fitness happened”  All in all I Definitaly give Core Fitness the seal of approval and the coveted DON’s Choice Award.

Oh yeah if you wanna contact the gym this is their number 2520407.  Holla at them…

Lets Talk About My New Diet

TAT | August 4, 2008

I know updates have been slow as of late. Work and juggling friends have me tapped out. However Thats not what I’m gonna be talking about…

As the title says I’m gonna talk about my new diet. It’s no secret just your average low carb high protein diet. Basically I eat meat, chicken, eggs and veggies everyday. Diet coke or 7-Up is fine although I only did that twice since I was out. I started a food and exercise journal ON MY BIG MOLESKINE… to see what kinda changes happen so lets start

  • First two days I felt a bit tired and groggy
  • The next 4 days after that I get hyper spikes around 6-9
  • On Thursday I was really horny ( the reason is I have a high zinc intake from my diet)
  • Now I think I stabilized, but I feel more energetic, hyper, jumpy etc…

On the second week I started Taking some supplements in the form of GNC Mega Men Dietary supplement. Ever since then my piss is not clear no more. It’s more or less a phosphorous yellow. Since I’m taking in the Vitamins and Minerals I need and flush the rest out.  I guess it’s ok since it contains a shitload of stuff that I’m not getting from the diet.

As for the gym, I go on Mondays and Thursdays. I seriously get fucked at the gym it’s really intense and my personal trainer is like next time we’ll take it up a notch. I love that gym, which I’ll give a proper review next week. But for now I’m thinking of walking around 5 or 6 pm on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. So my question for you is:

  1. Where do you recommend I go for my walks?
  2. Are you interested in joining me on these walks?
  3. I’m gonna do 30 minute intervals of fast paced walking and jogging, can you keep up?

If any of you are interested we can set that up, and I wont quit halfway through still got 15 Kilos to go. I’m in it, to win it, can you step it up a notch?

Oh yeah since I started the diet and the gym I lost around 4 kilos in the span of 1.5 weeks I know what your thinking what I lost is water weight and my body is dehydrated right? Well no, I drink around 4-6 liters of water a day so it can’t be because of that. For now I’m gonna stick to the diet till ramadan where I need to add some carbs. And later on reintroduce rice, bread, pasta into my diet. Another upside of the diet is my skin complexion is better now, I should know since I have semi-chronic acne. Which reminds me need to find a good doctor to get rid of these acne scars I got as well. Time for a makeover I gues, since I’m eating healthy, feeling good infact great, and everything is looking up and TINGALANG!

EDIT

In case you are wondering I have 5 small meals a day. Dinner and Lunch, I have veggies or a salad on the side and a green tea after these meals. I also started coffee in the morning since last Friday. Gotta ask my nutritionist about fruits, since it’s all about peaches and cream, know what I mean :P

Recap

TAT | July 29, 2008

I know I know Ive been slow with updates and shit so dont sweat it yo.

So both my credit cards expired and soon this site would. I had to come up with a solution fast. Thanks to G dot he made me get those virgin-burgan bank ones and problem solved.

Ive been on a new diet so far 5 days no rice no bread. But it’s all good in the hood. Although been craving rice like a fat kid craves cake. I don’t get sugar cravings since I’m not into sweets much.

I joined a new gym which I will review later on. It’s not your conventional gym and I ain’t your average mofo of the block so it’s a perfect match. Although I’ve been asked to join a gym where I will meet lot’s of bloggers. But I like this gym a lot. Had my first ASSessment today. Weight 90KG and 25% fat, should be weight 83KG and lose 6% body fat. But why stop there right… Stay tuned for results right around EID!!!

What else… hmmm…. been drinking green tea daily for a month now. Oh yeah lots of water too. But ever since the new diet Ive been pissing like 20 times a day. Is that too much info fo yo ass?

Oh yeah Ive been listening to Lil Wayne’s lollipop a lot lately. So any of you wanna lick the RAPPER aka me, the T A T. I’m all down for fair exchanges. Ok, that’s it for my sexual references today. (for ladies only, if your a man and considering it not gonna happen sorry)

Before I forget to all the ladies who wear makeup that says

I’m not quite a hoe, but I’m getting there

I appreciate your effort. It’s good to know your trying so hard. Who knows someday you might reach hoe status. Always go after your goals is what I say.

I was walking in the co-op today and this girl in front of me was wearing a shirt that shows her bare shoulders. So this guy has been eyeing her like she got the cure for cancer as I was staring at him the whole time so as he passes her. His eyes and mine meet and I start laughing so hard at him. Was waiting for a response from him but he just walked past me too chicken shit to say sumthin. And here I was waiting for an excuse to start a slugfest. Oh well, maybe next time. And if your horny ass wants to know how good looking the girl was. She was all right is all I can say, definitely not TINGALANG material. But hey that stuff is in the eye of the beholder. So dont be hatin on me.

Ok so ladies if you wanna know if the TATNESS thinks you TINGALANG or not. I might consider it, since I’m picky don’t wanna upset most of ya’ll.

I think I’ll end it here for now…. yeah that’s a good idea dont ya think?
