Core Fitness Review
TAT | August 12, 2008Where do I start, I have been looking for a gym for a while now. But they where either expensive, too many people in it, or far away. I was trying to live a healthy lifestyle. Downloaded a couple of fitness tapes did the home thing for a bit. But the thing is I was never motivated enough to finish. But all thats changed, I have finnally found a gym that I can call a second home.
Yeah ya heard that right it’s like my second home. I’m eating healthy now, doing the gym thing. You know those people who work out and say they are happy and enjoying life and feel great? Back in the days I used to say bullshit. But guess what I’m one of them now. The gym has literally changed my life and the way I think about my body. So lets talk about the gym for now.
Core fitness is located in Bneid Al Gar right next to Safir international Hotel. If you dont know where that is it’s in front of Fudfuckers. It’s a small chilled place that has a nice atmosphere. you walk in and you’ll find the reception area and next to it. A very comfy changing area and a huge ass bathroom. Let me talk about the bathroom for a second there’s only one. And it does not look like a bathroom you find in other gyms more like a personal bathroom in your house. Upstairs is the workout area equipped with weights and machines and basically all you need. But get this, it’s not that big at all it’s just the right size.
Now that we talked about how the place looks like, you might be asking yourself why is it not that big? Well to answer your question Core Fitness is not your conventional gym it’s more or less your own personal gym. If it’s packed, there’s only two more people working out with you and you wont even feel their presence. The Trainers, really give you a hell of a workout. And yes you will feel it the next day for sure.
So lets talk about the Core Fitness program or programs shall I say. they offer 5 unique programs personalized for your fitness level, expertise, and goals. The 5 tracks are
- Fitness
- Fat loss
- Muscle Building
- Endurance
- Fitness boxing
I will list the benefits you get from Core Fitness:
- Personalized program depending on your goals
- You own Trainer that will be with you the whole nine yards
- A Diet suited to your lifestyle
- You might bump into the DON himself, me
- It is appointment based, so those living a hectic lifestyle can manage their time well and clear their schedule for gym time.
Each program lasts 7 weeks, since that’s the time your body needs to change. Also depending on your fitness level you either start at 2, 3, or 4 days per week.
That’s about it really. As for me the workouts are really fun, it’s always changing so your body wont adapt and platue. It’s become one of those things I love to hate and love again affair you know. Best part is after two weeks I have been feeling changes can’t wait for the 7 week comparision of before and after. I have been getting complimenst a lot lately the topic of the day seems about my wight loss and how good I look lol. A friend of mine was like “Hey TAT your glowing did you just have sex?” And I say “Nope Core Fitness happened” All in all I Definitaly give Core Fitness the seal of approval and the coveted DON’s Choice Award.
Oh yeah if you wanna contact the gym this is their number 2520407. Holla at them…

Angelo | August 12, 2008This gym of yours seems really nice and conventional. I mean, the damn thing won Don’s seal of approval, so it’s got to mean something. Since last July, I joined Oxygen for one month (payed 40KD), and I really liked it. Very clean and spacious too. I’d love to go there but I’m returning to the States next week, but once I get back after I graduate, I might stick with it. But Core Fitness also sounds promising. Might check this one first before I make a hasty decision. Thanks for the review

The Gym is great, when I first moved to Kuwait I signed up for a regular Gym, when I go there it is:
1- Too crowded.
2- Too many kids.
3- People actually smoke at the Gym!!!!
4- I wouldn’t know where to start, no set program.
5- Facility wasn’t the cleanest place in the world.
But when I first was introduced to Core Fitness:
First, I was given a diet plan that matches what I eat. I was actually asked what’s my eating habits, then
accordingly was given a diet plan.
Second, this Gym cuts the BS that goes around in other Gyms, all you need is a full 20 minute work out that really
works for your plan whichever it is (loosing weight, building muscles, or just simply to get fit).
Then the class of the Gym ( no kids running around, no smoking) from the minute you enter you are treated like
a VIP. You can change in the fancy closet room, or take a shower in the spacious bathroom, you can even sit and watch TV.
Then your trainer takes you upstairs and push you to the limits of your individual body strength.
That is what Kuwait was missing a serious 5 star gym that have one goal in mind, 20-minutes serious workout.
Thank you The Don for posting about Core Fitness.
Peace,
Bu Omar
